This property is primarily Type 114, Imperial Silty Clay (70%), and Type 115, Imperial-Glenbar Silty Clay (30%). This ground is typically hard clay with some silt mixed in. The soils and texture make water penetration slow, therefore, there is lots of tile in place to help remove excess water that escapes the root zone and needs to be removed so as to not create scalding or anaerobic conditions, especially in the summer time. This type of property is great for growing Bermuda Grass, and Sugar Beets, and even Fall and Spring Mixed Lettuces under sprinkling irrigation methods. The property is tiled with black perforated plastic tile on 100' centers. APN#S: 044-490-015 & 019.
DIRECTIONS:From State Route 111, go East on Worthington until it crosses McConnell Rd. At McConnell, turn right and go 1/4 mile. Property will be on the west side of the Rose Canal at gates 11 & 13.
